It is with great, great sadness to announce that Founding member, Bob Steinke of the K9 Guardians Foundation has passed away. Bob was a man with a huge heart and had a tremendous passion for working dogs. It was the generosity of Bob that allowed the K9 Guardians Foundation to become the non-profit that it is today. His passion has allowed the K9 Guardians to donate 27 ballistic vests, 108 medical kits (First Aid, Narco, Trauma), and 270 pairs of Rex Specs eyewear to heroic K9’s at 42 agencies (Police, Corrections, Search and Rescue and Military) in 14 states.
Bob Steinke’s family asks that as an expression of sympathy, donations can be made to the K9 Guardians Foundation in lieu of flowers. Thank you.
